All in a day's work…

So I stayed up till 6 in the morning last night because that is what you do when you take a few weeks off of work, allegedly. Consequently, I slept till 2 this afternoon and I have to say, it was one of the best things to happen to me so far in 2009. I know what you’re thinking, Brian’s life sounds pretty awesome when he is on vacation and you’re right, it is!

I also took down the Christmas lights this weekend. I don’t want any more letters from our crazy HOA like I got this summer if, heaven forbid, I forget to mow my grass one week.

Speaking of my crazy HOA, I am really excited to be getting back into the swing of things tomorrow. In my rampant laziness, I’ve come up with a lot of good ideas for things I want to do in 2009. It’s going to be awesome! You see what I did there? I told you I was going to write more about the HOA but I didn’t write anything about them at all. In fact, I dislike the HOA so much, I am going to put them on blog silence.

Until they do something else that is crazy…

So here we are, three days into the new year and I have already run out of things to say. MK and I have basically taken a couple of weeks off to support our holiday addiction. I think getting back around crazy people is going to give me more to talk about.

I am not going to let you down though, blog reader. I am going to make every effort to post every day this year in spite of how mundane my life is starting to appear…

Turns out, today was a pretty boring day around the ole ponderosa. That is kind of a good thing. I did get an awesome HD video camera for Christmas and as soon as I get this editing software figured out, I hope to have some compelling footage to share.

Until then, I will share this thorough, in-depth review of Tropic Thunder on Blu Ray… It was AWESOME!

So I’ve decided to make a resolution for the new year. I am going to make a concerted effort to post something on the blog every day. I know, I know, it sounds ridiculous to think I can top my current level of posting once a month but I am going to make a concerted effort.

You read it here first. A new post every single day. If I should happen to miss a day, the first person to leave a comment and call me out on it will win some sort of special prize – like our new puppy or something even awesomer!!!
